community benefits.
- Judicious use of resources so that all who is seeking care is
benefited
Controlling cost and improving efficiency of services is a
significant aspect among the social responsibility of a hospital.
Hospital are established to render services to community without
prejudice or bias due its diverse heritage. This will make the
health services more affordable and accessible. It also
includes:
- Abstention of harm to the environment. The waste created from
hospital should be disposed properly without causing any
environmental hazards.
- Protection of interest and profit of all stake holders involved
in health care system.
- The another issue that comes under the umbrella of the concept
of social responsibility is to deal with human rights while
delivering care. Respect to human rights should be given.
- Creating wealth and promoting employment.
- Protection of animal interest.
- Public accountability of management decisions. The hospital
should promote community participation which will easy the
implementation of services, program easily with the community.
- Abiding to the law. The function of hospital should be strictly
based on law.
