Question
Feedback inhibition is a type of inhibition where the biochemical product of the pathway block the first enzyme use in that specific biochemical pathway. This type of inhibition mainly occur when the excess product form in that pathway.

Lac operon is consist of genes that transcribed togeather. This pathway is require to use by bacteria for lactose usage in cell. This operon is also an example of feedback inhibition because when lactose is not present in the cell, lac-repressor binds to the region known as operator because no enzymes are not required for digestion of lactose. But when lactose is present, the lactose binds to the repressor , so that operator become free and lactose digesting enzymes are transcribed. Therefore, product of lac-operon decide the activation or inhibition of the pathway.
