A beverage company target market includes: local organizations, the island university as well as different universities in the Caribbean region, supermarkets, retail companies and different companies in the region through exportation. Jason is seeking to obtain data to introduce a new Malt beverage to the Market. This data will be obtained through the use of a survey distributed to the Local University students. However, he found these students to be non-cooperative at times and wondered whether the data supplied was fudged.

Reasons for non cooperation from the students
1. The students don't see any benefit of conducting such a survey. If there personally not getting any benefit from survey they don't take active interest in it.
2. Most University student don't consume malt beverages. Therefore they lack the interest of conducting such a survey.
3. Students may a sense of insecurity from consuming such beverages. Any outside company who is conducting a survey should first take the student in confidence and then conduct the survey.
Reason why Jason felt that the data supplied was fudged-
1. The students with whom the survey was conducted showed non cooperation in the survey.
2. The team was working to collect the data was not sufficiently capable.
3. There was lack of interest in his team while conducting the survey.
4. Data was collected manually and the chances of manipulating it was high.
