An organisation [ABC] is currently undertaking a recruitment drive to provide staffing requirements for a new site. ABC is a large multinational organisation in the manufacturing industry. The recruitment drive is part of an overall restructure of the organisation’s operations. As part of this restructure, the organisation intends to reduce the staff numbers at several other sites which have been earmarked for closure over the next five years. Total sites included in the organisation number 20, and are located throughout Australia and South-East Asia. Staffing requirements for the new site include all levels of positions, from the most junior level to senior operational management. You have been hired as a consultant to plan and deliver the project.

My steps for undertake to complete this project:

Organization structure with desired skill and position title: First step will be taking a detailed structures (organization chart) of organization for new site. The structure will contain the reporting of each individual position to its’s next higher position. The most junior to most senior position will be well defined in organization chart. The every position will be having a self-description in chart only. In the description, the desired skills, needed years of experience, specialization and education will be described. This will help recruiters to have all information at a glance. After aligning all requirements, following two sub steps need to be completed,

· Internal recruitments (with-in ABC): The job position is to be opened for present employees. The information for available positions in new site will be routed through top to bottom management level. Means, ABC’s top authority for new site will request to the top head of all existing site and business units. This way top head will be able to identify the suitable employee to serve new site’s operations.

· External recruitments (Outside ABC): After settlement of all with-in company (ABC), the rest open positions will be determined for the external recruitment. To run the external recruitments, the below process will be followed,

· Publishing a recruitment information on ABC’s website: The details including Skill set, job profile, needed years of experience, specialization and education will be described under each position.

· Publishing a recruitment information on top job search sites like LinkedIn, Indeed: Including above along with Company profile will per posted under each position. The advertisement will be in English only for all the countries.

· Scrutinizing process Step-1: The resume will be shortlisted after the deep study. The separate panel of technical team will be doing this scrutinizing. They will be given with the shortlisting tool to have a quality and quick process.

· Scrutinizing process Step-2: The panel for scrutinizing will also conduct a telephonic or skype interview with shortlisted candidates. The qualified resumes will be forwarded for Face to face interview.

· Selection of interview locations (F2F): The Face to Face interview will be conducted in nearest office located from candidate’s location. The choice of choosing the location will also be opened for candidates.

· Scrutinizing process Step-3: The face to face interview will be conducted to know for about the interpersonal skills and technical knowledge of candidate. The HR office will look for salary range and notice period of candidate.

· Scrutinizing process Step-4: HR interview and Salary negotiation will be done releasing offer letter (mentioning joining date and salary structure) through the mail for selected candidate in final (F2F) interview.

The other process is running a referral program within organization. This referral program will be published through mail and will be available on internal management link like workday. The referral program will be announced with the appropriate amount of bonus. The referral program is having its own significance and advantages. The employees are requesting/ calling their collage or school alumni to join the organization. The chance to get fit candidate is more as more of them have studied in same field. Steps involves in this process is below explained in bullet points,

· Announcement of referral program through mail and through displaying it in canteen, auditorium and more common and gathering places.

· The announcement will have better presentation and amount of win. The due will also be defined.
