Everyone who does a job wants to be get paid a good number. Same thing is with me. If I start a new job surely I will try my best to get paid with as much hike as possible. But if I get paid within middle range with a 20% hike from the previous salary then also I will be comfortable in joining the new job.

For getting maximum salary hike there are many advantages and disadvantages both-

First of all after getting high amount of salary is profitable as you can do anything with it u want. Also with it u can live a lavish lifestyle but also their is disadvantage as highest salary in the organization is not digestable to many othere colleagues working with u.

Secondly If u need to apply in any other organization with a higher post but they are not having the provision of paying so much high then it becomes difficult to switch the job.

Also everytime high salary is not only the matter, there is something called job satisfaction. An employee should be satisfied with his job.

Another thing is when u get highly paid then there are more expectations with u by the company and they want maximum ouput from u. But if u are averagely paid then u will surely get relaxations in the job and u can work peacefully.

So with high salary package there are more expectations, more involvement needed and also more of the time of yours needed for the commitment to job. But with medium salary package this all is needed but to a limited level, not with extra burden.
