When it comes to a company’s personnel policies and procedures – that is, how it handles the hiring, firing, promoting, and paying of the people who work for it – what do you see as the most important moral principles for it to bear in mind?

The development of a great working environment has proved successful in boosting efficiency. The sentence also reads: the human resources are the most important asset, they are exploited. The relation you maintain with your personnel starts even before you hire. Sending out the right signals would make people work for you with enthusiasm. Having fair and reasonable policies once in the job is essential to keep the workplace atmosphere at the highest possible standard.

This basically sounds like a human resource management problem. For those responsible for making these types of decisions, the most relevant moral concept is that they have to be fair to any person and/or circumstance they meet. When an individual causes their personal biases or emotions, favoritism, impartiality, too much sympathy for others, or their own self-interest in mind to cloud their decisions on these kinds of issues then they will never do this kind of job effectively. Around the same time, the people in this position must always make the most reasonable and ethical decisions for all the parties concerned (both employee and employer).

It is morally sound for someone in this role to base their decisions on these matters on sound evidence, resumes, credentials, success at work
