Expert Solution

The HR personnel plays a key role in the functioning of an organisation and is the one who handles all human resources or personnel issues of the company.

The HR has to be impartial, composed and in touch with all the key departments including sales and marketing beside knowing the pulse of the happenings in the system.

During the course of our experience all kinds of issues ranging from an overpaid hire to the wrong hire to the rule breaker hire to the overperforming hire all have come into place. Once we faced an issue wherein a high performing candidate was using the wrong techniques to sell, although we were getting good business but there was no repeat business. We were losing goodwill so although our half yearly reports showed a 40 percent increase in sales our goodwill dived a lot. We had to let go of this personnel and we realised soon enough that happy customers kept coming back again.
