Social entrepreneurs: It is those persons who recognize a social problem such as poverty, illness, illiteracy, environmental destruction, human rights abuses, and corruption and uses entrepreneurial principles to organize, create and manage a venture to make a social change.

Govt.'s contribution to encourage social entrepreneurs:

  • Govt. should allocate required funding for social entrepreneurs so that they can achieve great degrees of success.
  • Govt plays a vital role as a resource and partners for producing knowledge that helps identify the problems, document the solutions.
  • Govt. provides research data, establishes critical standards, and produces or funds evaluation for social entrepreneurs.
  • Lay the foundation, support, promote, recognize the entrepreneur.
  • New tax structures, agency R&D policies.
