Identify the correct order (can start with any one)of flowering plant life cycle: fertilization, gamete and production and pollination, embryo development, maturation and flowering, fruit and seed maturation, development of the plant body, seed dispersal and germination
Seed Germination------->Development of the plant body-------> Maturation and flowering------->Gamete production and pollination-------> Fertilization-------> Embryo development-----> Fruits and seed maturation------> Seed dispersal and germination
The first stage of flowering plant will start with seed germination. Germination will happen when condition are suitable such as there is a presence of water, moisture, oxygen etc.
The plant matures and form its reproductive organs: stamens producing pollens and pistils producing ovules. Pollination will bring the pollen grain ( male anther) of a flower to the female stigma. Pollination can be accomplished by the wind, or by animals pollinators that carry pollen from one flower to another.
If pollination is successful and fertilization takes place, a zygote is formed. It will then develop into an embryo that is contained within a seed.
