Vaccine is a biological preparation of an agent that resembles a pathogenic microorganism either made from weakened or killed microbe or its toxins or surface proteins. It provides aquired immunity to the person against an infectious disease. Vaccines are usually given to infants upto an age of five. No vaccine is 100% safe, they cause pain and redness at the site of injection. Skipping vaccines is not a good idea as it can pose the danger of being vulnerable to potentially dangerous diseases that could be avoided. Hence, vaccines are good. Autism affects brain making the communication difficult. Vaccines do not cause autism. There hasn't been a connection found between childhood vaccination and autism. There has been a misconception that MMR vaccine might cause autism, but there wasn't any link found between the vaccine and autism. Vaccines actually do more good than harm because, the biological products which are used in vaccine preparation can never be 100% safe but the adverse event are extremely rare. Even after series of vaccinations there's still a possibility to develop the disease if the body doesn't develop antibodies or if the vaccine does not generate immune response. Side effects of vaccination involve soreness or redness, swelling at the injection site. Serious side effects include seizures and allergic reactions but rare. Small pox vaccine side effects include mild rash and swelling to severe eye infections, vision loss, encephalitis. But vaccines do more good than harm preventing the possibility of aquiring polio which causes permanent paralysis by getting vaccinated at the earliest. Its not a good idea to get rid of vaccines because, vaccination helped in prevention of two infections globally i.e. smallpox and polio. without vaccination there's not even a 1% chance of being immune to deadly infections. So get vaccinated, be safe.
