Dynasty Electrical Engineering Company Limited has developed a new Voltage Regulator to cut down electric power consumption in production plants in the country by 30%. This they believe is cheaper, more reliable and efficient compared to that of competitors.
The Group CEO, Mr. Adams wanting to capture the market, hastily put together a 120-page proposal to the five major production firms in the country recommending their new Voltage Regulators to be installed.
The first 85 pages of his proposal concentrated on the mathematical theory and engineering design behind the product and the next 33 describes an assembly plant he is planning to construct for mass production of his product.
Buried in the appendix were the test results and graphs indicating how much money these production firms would make and save. Dynasty Electrical Engineering Company Limited was denied the contract and folded up in 6 months.

ANSWER 1. The proposal which sent by Mr. adams was not good enough. the main goal of mr. adam was that he was trying to inform them about how he make that voltage. he wrote many mathematical theories and about engineerig. so in that proposal his main motto was to tell them about how he made that voltage.

Answer 2. in the proposal of Mr. Adams there were many errors:

1. his main aim should be made the production form agree towards the production his voltage but in proposal he told only about how he built that.

2. he should also tell them how by this voltage they can become better from their competitors.

3. he should also mention in proposal about the many benefits of voltage regulators like electricity saving , cost benefits.

4. with the help of various charts he should also tell them about profit increase sale etc.

5. most importantly, the proposal was on writing, it becomes very boring to read 120 pages proposal , so he should make a powerpoint presentation about its production cost incureed benefits ect. it will look attractive also.

Answer 3. in starting the company may incur many loses / costs such that:

1. new machine or may be new worker will be needed for the production of that voltage.

2. more supervision to the workers will be needed.

3. chances of more wastage.

4. in the start sales will be low so low profit and cost of product will be high.

5. customer are not aware about it so advertising cost
