CONNECTION OF THIS MUSICAL WORK WITH RACIAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC ISSUES OF U S

First of all Racism was the major problem that was experienced by the blacks. Therefore in 1950's this protest song was helpful for this movement. Music played a vital role in expressing the views of the black people as their rights were destroyed by the others. Not only black people but also many other people were protesting for civil rights, women were protesting for their rights at that moment in 1950's.

And also there is a good connection of musical works to the  socio and economic issues .During 1950's in this movement a song called "WE SHALL OVERCOME" helped to raise a hope among the people in the US to face several issues related to socio and economic crisis.

Therefore several documented songs helped the people in the country to forget about the bad past and helped the people to make brave enough themselves to face any issues in their future.
