Is the United States an economically just society, why or why not?
Yes, The US is an economically just society even though there
are minor flaws in its society.
Its economy promotes talent and encourages entrepreneurship. Its
policies have made many talent people rich even though they were
not born in a rich family. Many technology driven companies have
been formed due to its friendly economic policies. Foreign direct
investment to USA is largest in the world which helps foreign
investors to invest without fear of red tapism , delay ,etc. The
dollar is the most traded currency in the world. Every country
wants to benchmark its currency with the dollar.
Time and again economic reforms have been introduced to prevent
financial frauds, Ponzi schemes, subprime lending, etc. That's why
the US economy has bounced back from recessions. Moreover US allow
it companies to trade in foreign securities, invest in foreign
share market, and issue bonds in foreign soil to diversify the
risks in US.
There might be certain shortcomings like bail out of banks through
public money and other instances but each time due to strong
regulation and fundamentals the US has bounced back from temporary
setbacks
