Transition vs change in management
Q.- Transition vs change in management
Ans-
There is a very subtle but crucial difference between these two concepts of management i.e., change and transition. The change is something that happens to the employees even they are reluctant to accept it. It means that embracement of change by the employees may be voluntarily or non-voluntarily. Its example may include the adoption of new technologies, mergers & acquisitions, etc.
On the other hand, the transition is something that always happens to the employees out of their conscious decisions. It always happens because of the conducive environment created in the organization and the employees willingly accept it. Its example could be the temporary change that occurs in the working styles/attitudes of the employees when a charismatic boss/leader joins the company. But when he leaves the organization, everyone starts doing the same old thing.
So this is the difference between chnage and transition management.
