Woodford Home Care & Support Services

Woodford Home Care & Support Services, based in the West Midlands, provides personalized services to enable older people, as well as adults with a range of illnesses and disabilities, to remain at home safely and confidently. They had difficulty in attracting sufficient numbers of high ability staff and to meet customer needs. HR conducted a comparative survey of the rates of pay offered by other competitors, which indicates that Woodford Home Care rates of pay per hour for careers are lower than the rates offered by other home care providers. Current evening shift patterns (11 p.m.–4 a.m.) are not family-friendly. The majority of the staff need to use taxis to return to the city as public transport does not run from our site until 6 a.m. The cost of taxis in the area is high. Some staff are worried about their personal safety when travelling at night. Woodford Home Care don`t offer any staff training.
