Though the act of nestle can be considered as Social responsibility, other motives behind this act cannot be ruled out. All companies whatever social responsibility they perform try to derive publicity out of it. The same applies in the case of Nestle. There may be other motives behind such act which includes positioning itself as the leader of values. The publicity derived from these acts helps the firms in marketing themselves as well as leveraging themselves as the torch bearers of ethics and values thereby attracting large segment of customers towards them.
