Android Open Source Software is a type of software system in which the source code is made available with the license and in such a system the copyright holders provides the right to read, study, modify and distribute the software to anybody and for any specific purpose. Such software has the provision of changes received from multiple sources. As it is a collaborative development of multiple independendent sources, so it generally offers a much wider scope for designing and development than any single company is capable to develop and sustain.
