Anger in the work place is common place. Anger can either be positive or negative based on how an individual uses anger for motovation. Please discuss in general terms your experiences in the workplace wtih anger issues.
There are a number of reasons that can cause anger at the workplace which includes fear, frustration and even discrimination. This can cause a lot of problems especially when the person feeling anger tries to express it with negative emotions. The longer this issue remains unresolved, the longer it affects the mental state of the person. This gets clearer as unresolved anger leads to poor work, lack of motivation, feeling of discontent and disconnect. People usually don’t come forward with their problem due to inbuilt fear of ridicule from their peers and avoid a direct confrontation. Anger needs to be dealt with by the person in order to allow their them to progress through it. If a person decided to use this emotion in a positive light, they could easily achieve a lot more output while essentially eventing out all the negative energy that comes with it. It is the responsibility of not just the person but everyone around them to recognize signs of distress and make sure they do not end up doing something to upset the balance further. Proper management through situations such as these is required so that the problem does not escalate into violence or some other destructive action.
