Ebola virus is one of hemorrhagic viral infections. The recent explosion was in 2014 which lead to study about the Ebola viruse that helped in developing the epidemiology triad . Different control measy, treatment strategies and all were established then .

Strategy to control ebola outbreak

Breaking the host ,agent environment chain is the main strategy that can be used

Since no medication is available for the treatment the best way for preventing the Ebola disease is by preventing susceptible people from the infection and restrict spreading that is to prevent the contact between the agent and the host which is one side of the triangle.

This can only be done with the help of individual and government efforts

Enough support from the government is required for the prevention and control of the Ebola virus outbreak

  • . First, a strong medical reserve and health infrastructure should be established in the area of outbreak
  • . It will lead to a big problem only if the health system fails to identify and isolate the agent that is infected people
  • One to one contact tracing and quarantine policies should be made to stop the spread of disease
  • Those susceptible to disease and had exposure should be closely monitored for 21 days
  • New cases should be identified and isolated quickly, and the cycle should be repeated until no patient emerges.
  • An appropriate system should be made to make sure
  • Third, considering the absence of effective treatment and the high case fatality, it is reasonable to circumvent research ethics and authorize the promising experimental vaccines or drugs for emergency use.
  • Treating the ones that has the diseases that's is the host of ebola viruse which can be an agent to spread the disease is one way to break one side of the triangle that is the side with agent and host

Challenges

The Ebola outbreak encounter two challenging tasks: to optimize the use of available medical resources and to avoid nosocomial infections.

Lack of health infrastructure

High cost for treatment

Unpromising vaccine

Uncooperative people who will not stay isolated

Failure to identify new cases.
