Yes , medicare has helped to reduce the disparities in health insuarance in the US ,it is a health insuarance programme which is meant for elderly people above the age of 65 . It has played a vital role in reducing disparities in health coverage between racial and ethnic minority groups and whites .It is seen that whites have much more access to health insuarance when compared to blacks and other minorities. With the emergence of Medicare it has given access to all citizens of USA including minorities to get health insuarance. Medicare also provides the same benefit package to all beneficiaries—rich and poor ,this help-s the poor section of the society to get access to the health insuarance.
