Plagiarism can be defined as using other person’s words , ideas or facts as if they were your own without giving credit to the original source. It is one of the biggest issues in research and also the growing issue in the world.

It shall also include the following :

1. Taking the credit of work performed by other.

2. Failing to provide the resources used like databases and networks

3. Aims at giving improper impression

4. Dishonesty is involved in the intentional plagiarism

5. It is not only restricted to the research , any published work is subjected to plagiarism.
