- The gender inequality was major concern in the developed countries few decades ago, but because of the amendments & construction of varous civil & business rights in favor of the women has resulted into the uplifting of women status in the society as a business or independent person who is as much responsible as her male counterpart is. Some of these legislations and rights are as follows.

• Equal pay legislation ( 1872 )
• Minimum Wage law ( 1918 )
• Equal pay act of 1963
• Civil right act of 1964 etc.

- Now, gender inequality is the major issue to be resolved in the developing countries or the under developed economies. Also in many socially & culturally conservative countries those are very resistant to change.

- Contrary to the widespread belief that feminity doesn't carry the leadership or ruling qualities & is dependent totally on its male counterpart or they are not much strong, our past is evident that before even coming up of the modern era they took step to get employed outside of their home.
