Q 1 How does addressing global poverty improve national security?
There are two ways in which global poverty improves national security; firstly it strengthens the soft power (the ability of a nation to impact other countries without the utilization of force) of the country as when a nation tries to alleviate poverty in other nations it is seen as morally upstanding to the global community and achieve greater influence across the globe. this influence can avert the act of terrorism. Secondly, poverty leads to deterioration of government bodies which makes people extremist; which can be stopped through alleviation of poverty.
