Germany is one of the member of the European Union, it is one of the world's most industrialized country and holds a strong economy. For an international trade there exists certain regulations or inhibitions. There exists the tariffs and duties, which may be subjected to change with the change in policy of the government. Germany is being a part of European union, the business {which means the export and import} is actually controlled by the European union Taxation and Customs union.

A Common External Tariff is applicable to the nations out of the European union. The rates are based on this CET. If certain alligations matters arise on it they they are directed to the German customs.
