4. Marketing Research is very important particularly if company want to launch new products/ service to market, New market Opportunity, either expansion to new market. However some of products/service avoid to do marketing research, but in finally their success. Please give samples products /service in the past and clarifying why those brands/products still success
There are certain times when market research are not allowed for
the products. The examples of products which do not need market
research and have been successful are:
- Diet snacks: There has no research done for diet snacks and they
are still successful in the market. It is so because there has been
a trend towards health and fitness where people are shifting
towards healthy eating. Hence, no market research was needed for
the same.
- Electric vehicles: There has been shift towards electric vehicles
as fuel efficiency and environment friendly trends are what people
are shifting towards. Hence, no market research is needed for it
and will be successful in market.
- Mini products for cosmetics and lotions: There has been shift
towards weightless travel and hence small and mini products are
needed and successful in the market. No market research will be
needed for the same.
