At the airport, the rights to use Airline's take off and landing slot that they had and cannot be forced to sell or give to other airlines. Take off and landing slot refers to the time at which aircraft can arrive and leave. These rights are the act or provision in which old rules are applicable to the current or existing situations while new rules will be applied to all future situations. For example- in current situation airlines holds the sold forever and these are their grandfather rights.

Nowadays many airports have more demand for flights than available space until these airports expand the solution is slot allocation. The slot allocation process helps airlines to plan operations to the world's most congested airport avoiding chaos, the process has to work consistently one flight, two airports, one global rule: the worldwide slot guidelines.The worldwide slot guidelines have been the global standard for the best practice of slot allocation and management.The WSG provides airlines with certainty to plan the best schedules that provide connectivity and choice to all customers.

Slot administration in the U.S. follows the process developed by IATA(International Air Transport Association) in the WSG. This process requires a coordinator for each Level 3 airport and a schedule facilitator for each Level 2 airport.flight schedules are divided into seasons per year—Winter and Summer, the slot allocation and schedule facilitation process occur twice annually.Under the WSG, airports are divided into one of three categories based on the degree of congestion and potential for delays:
Level 1 is assigned where the capacity of airport infrastructure is adequate to meet demand and therefore there are no extensive situations of delays;
Level 2 is assigned where there is potential for congestion during some periods of the day, which can be managed through mutual cooperation of the carriers with the schedule facilitator to ensure scheduling within the airport's capacity and
Level 3 is assigned where infrastructure is inadequate to meet demand and there are significant chances for delays requiring mandatory slot management.

Five prediction for the future of airline-

1. Environmental Changes-

In the upcoming years, the demand for the airline will be more than that is right know resulting in increasing pollution and growing global warming. The airline authorities have to take some major steps so that this can be controlled for the better future with compromising the demand for airlines.

2. Data collection-

In the upcoming years, the airlines will be having the huge data f their customer, so they can use this data to analyse and determine the need and requirement of the customer and implement these onto their plans and give a better experience to the customers.

3. Cyber attacks-

Airports have massive information available; at the ATC tower and nowadays cyber attack possibilities are also increasing day by day, so to ensure the airport authorities have to design a system through which they can make their system full proof so that cyber hacks cannot be done.

4. Artificial intelligence-

In the upcoming years, we will notice a large amount of robot availability on the airport. Most of the operations will be done out by the artificial intelligence or robots.It will be advancement and development in the airline industry.

5. Availability of drones at the airport-

In coming years, we can notice drones will be there on airport everywhere to monitor each and every activity at the airport. Drones can be very useful to the airline industry and as well as a threat to the industry. Airport authorities have to work a lot on this advancement so that they can install drones at airport.
