What three points would you use to respond to someone who claims that business ethics is a fad? please explain in detail

Business ethics is not a fad because of the following reasons:

1) Business ethics creates crediblity in the public's eye. People would want to buy products of companies which are honest and provides value for money.

2) Business ethics creates crediblity with the employees if the employees will believe in the company, will trust the company that will increase job satisfaction of the employees their by increasing productivity and reducing attrition in the long run .

3) Being ethical results in better decision making in the interest of the customers and the employees which will effect the profitablity of the company in the long run.
