ANSWER: Generally, the federal judiciary comprises of three main levels, which are District courts, state courts, and supreme court which is the final level of appeal in the federal system.
For all these federal courts, the rules and regulations are determined by the committees comprsing of judges, lawyers and professors who are appointed by the chief justice. Hence there will be a smooth functoning with the help of the federal judiciary. Here the federal judiciary is very much important because, it maintains the country and the other two government branches in line. As there is a scope for splitting the power evenly the federal judiciary is very important. These judicial branch detemines whether the constitution allows certain laws to be passed. If the supreme court decides that a law passed by the congress is not allowable, then the law is considered as unconstiutional and is completely erased, which gives the spreme court a humongous amount of power.
