Explain what the greenhouse effect is and discuss the cause and consequences of this to the planet. What evidence is there to show that global warming has been the worst in the last ten years? Experts suggest that we must practice the three R’s to reduce the impact of global warming. Explain?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Green house effect - there are some gases near the the Earth surface which traps the heat received from the Sun and that is reflected from the Earth. These gases maintain the temperature of the earth when the amount of these gases increases this results in increase temperature of the earth atmosphere this is called as greenhouse effect.

There are several causes of greenhouse effect which are increased amount of greenhouse gases. One of the main cause is pollution. For example vehicles release carbon dioxide , carbon monoxide etc. Due to greenhouse effect our earth remains warm but due to increased amount of greenhouse gases it is turning into global warming which may result into increased temperature of atmosphere causing the melting of glaciers and increasing the sea water level which may result in covering the residential lands.

There are several evidences which say that global warming has been worst in last ten years for example the temperature of the Earth's atmosphere has increased a lot in last 10 years.

Each and every areas of the earth is suffering from excessive heat. Glacier are melting very rapidly.

Expert suggest that we must practice the three R's to reduce the impact of global warming. 3 R's means reduce reuse and recycle. This method suggest to reduce our consumption of resources and try to make use of the used things that is reuse, also so it tells about recycling this may result into decreased amount of garbages. This 3 R's contributes a lot in preserving our environment and helping us to reduce the impact of global warming. We generally use of toxic materials and throw it here and there due to this we are contributing in global warming. Now if we are having the technique of 3 R's . Then we can minimise the pollution and reduce the global warming impact.
