Using criminological terms and concepts describe a hypothetical crime problem in a specific area or jurisdiction type.
When Betty was a child her mother would beat her and her brother on petty things and blame them for everything bad thing happening in life. Due to this Betty grew up to be obsessive type. She was bullied at school and teacher would pick on her as well due to her shy and weak personality. One time a girl helped her from getting bullied. She became obsessed with her upto the point she threatened her friends to stay away from her and even get them in accident to make them stay away.
After this incident she was sent abroad for treatment and studies. But she returned a year after and went to a famous college in town. There she met a guy and became obsessed with him upto a level where she even tried to kill them both in an accident so that they could die together.
The guy was so traumatized, he went in shock and his parents had to get a restraining order from court to keep her away. But this did not stop her from stalking the guy. She came back again with new name and face in his life. She had a wall full of picture the guys photos. The room had things related to the guy and even memorabilia she made with Betty and the guys initial letters.
After a certain time the wife started noticing Betty following the family and also kids school said complaint of some lady coming and taking the kids away. This made them aware of situation and they investigated the situation further by reporting it to the police. The police investigated and also found footage of Betty at places the family went for vacations or trips or day out. She was then arrested and the case went to court, where the past case also came to light. She was accused to stalking, attempted kidnap, and also for past attempted murder as well.
She was also advised to be admitted in mental isntitute first and then jail time later for the crimes by the court.
