I have selected a software development company. The Organizational Code of Ethics for a company is the guiding principles which are developed for the employees to abide by the rules and laws of the company and perform with integrity and honesty. The code of conduct should be followed for promoting ethical behavior and decision-making of the employees are: The first one is the confidentiality as the development of software is done for the clients and the employees must not leak the confidential information to others. The next one is loyalty. All the employees must be loyal to the company until they do not remain part of the company. The third one is honesty and integrity. All the employees must be honest towards their work and they must only perform those activities which are right and they are convinced of that act. The employees must also be trustworthy due to the nature of the work done in a software development company because the work performed in the company have a huge data set which is handled and the employee's trustworthiness is very important. All the employees must follow all the rules, regulations, and policies which are framed for the betterment of the employees and the organization as a whole. All the employees must have respect for the other employees as this helps in performing teamwork which is needed for the establishment of the company. All the managers and the higher authority must have concern for the employees who are working in the organization as it helps in boosting the morale of the employees and they work effectively and efficiently. The last one is to have an effective leadership which will guide the employees to achieve their goals and this will also help in the development of the company. So, these are the principle, activities, etc, which are needed by the employee to follow as an ethical code of conduct. These will affect the company as all these activities and principles help in achieving the goal of the organization which will help in the development of the employees and they will learn a lot of things which are important for their self-development in their personal life. The productivity of both the employees and the organization will improve.
