Question:

Answer:

Property Manager:

A property manager is an individual or company that is hired to oversee the day-to-day operations of a unit of real estate. Property owners and real estate investors typically hire property managers when they are unwilling or unable to manage the properties themselves.

Property managers ensure that the properties under their care operate smoothly, maintain their appearance, and either preserve or increase in value. They also show properties to prospective tenants or buyers, explain occupancy terms and collect monthly rents; and pay taxes and other maintenance fees.

A property manager needs to be able to listen and communicate, as well as be proactive and involved, current and knowledgeable. He or she should also be levelheaded and resourceful, personable and articulate.

Electronic Information Systems:

An electronic information system is the organized collection, processing, transmission, and dissemination of information according to defined procedures. An electronic information system is the organized collection, processing, transmission, and dissemination of information according to defined procedures.

We are living in digital world and the internet has changed the world. it is also the mother of Electronic Information Systems(EIS). Now its became the best way of communication, data management or MIS. its made easy to manage the information and using it smoothly. But there is some drawback of EIS.

The two main shortcomings that property managers can expect because of Electronic Information Systems.

1). The property manager can face the problem of data robbery. These days hackers are very active and intelligent. They can easily get access or enter into your data house and hack your data easily. A hacker can missuses of your confidential data and directly harm your business badly. Such data can include vendor information, bank records, intellectual property and personal data on company management. The hackers distribute the information over the Internet, sell it to rival companies or use it to damage the company’s image.

2). EIS make easy to manage the overload of data or data crisis. But at the same time its can creat a problem for the property manager. Now we understand that how will it creat problem for the manager. We all know that an electronic information system is the organized collection, processing, transmission, and dissemination of information according to defined procedures but when a manager use the data over the limit then its creat problem for a manager in decision making. The manager store the data from the economic, political and social system through EIS but when its increased from a level its creat confusion and make the decision making more difficult for a manager and affect the business badly.

Thank You
