Uneven development means the difference in the development in the various sectors of the economy .

The various ways in which the uneven development has occured in U.S. city such as Atlanta are:

1. The employers donot prefer to hire minority workers from inner city neighbourhoods because of concern about their working principles, language skills, and educational skills.

2.The atlanta's economy give more preference to advance diplomas rather than high school diplomas which has created a vast over supply of unskilled and semiskilled workers.

3. Their is a huge disparity in the regional development as out of eighteen activity centres fifteen activity centres are located in nothern suburbs whereas remaining only three are located in southern suburbs.

4. Their are various obstacles which keep balcks out of suburbs as compared to whites as discrimination can be seen in restrictive zonal practises, banking facilities, public transportation, housing discrimination, etc.
