I have to write a Tourism Site Analysis research paper. There are very strict guidelines. Can someone share a sample of what's a tourism analysis looks like? I can't find anything on google. I already picked my site.
Please Note that this is just a framework for how you could
frame your research paper. Feel free to provide any further
analysis points based on your selected site.
1. Site for tourism analysis(can be personal
choice) - makemytrip.com
2. Country of origin - India
3. Introduction -
(1) Make a brief introduction about what the site does to promote
tourism and how tourism is important for your country.
(2) Relate to the economically profitable aspects of tourism, and
how the selected website is helping in enhancing that aspect.
4. Analysis :
(1) Features of the website - Certain fundamentals like, location
searches, itinerary planners, selection of commote to reach a
place(bus/train/flights/road commote), etc. should be
presentl
(2) Promotion of a place of travel as to what are its USP's and why
could it turn out to be a good visit.
(3) Testimonials and reviews of tour packages and trips so that a
user feels comfortable and can trust the website
(4) Multiple and easy payment options to confirm trip; the website
should definitely furnish a detailed confirmed itinerary and
invoice once a user decides to pay for a tour package.
(5) Presence of a dedicated and reliable customer support to ensure
user enquiries are handed effectively and disposed off faster for
smooth functioning is crucial.
5. Conclusion : The user experience and ease of
access of the website is important for the site's ratings to be
higher. Be very critical of the site performs with respect to the
above points and please feel free to factor in personal opinions
constructively
6. Scope - If the website has added sections like
travel blogs or videos for people to subscribe added with customer
priviledges, the website would generally be a good one as a
customer would readily come back for another consuming experience.
This in turn is very good from the business/economic perspective of
the company and the country of visit.
