Fred Smith graduated from Yale University with majors in economics inmate 1960. He found the world's first overnight delivery company called FedEx and changed the transportation industry forever. He believes that it is absolutely necessary to innovate in order to survive. He studied the air freight industry for several years which impressed investors because of which he manage to raise dollar 81 million in loans and equity investment in the year 1972. Because of rapidly increasing fuel prices cost surpassed revenue leading to loss of more than 1 million dollar a month. Latter on with aggressive ad campaign company generated profit in the year 1976 by 1999 the FedEx company became world number one over night shift delivering more than 3 million packages to nearly 210 countries each working day. this Show that fred Smith is truly innovative visionary and his work displayed extraordinary enterpreneurial talent .
