Answer: Covid 19 is an viral disease spreading by corona virus, its spreading rate is much faster then previous diseases of this family like MERS etc.

However coming over the role of government departments for combating this disease, Its needs holistic approach and interdepartmental cooperation.

1.Health department: Its role is the most crucial in this time, needs comprehensive evaluation of situation regarding cases, its spread, treatment, facilities in hospitals, as well as quarantine facilities in and outside hospitals and many more function specially cooperation with other departments for contact tracings.

2.Home ministry department: Its takes an overall view regarding spreading awareness about the pandemic, keeping watch on security situations in various places, commanding and dictating terms to Police department for effectively managing the situation.

It also has to manage migrants issue who have been struct in different ststes than their domestic state.

3.Finance department: Its role is also a crucial one as it keeps eye on economic conditions of country as it has been hit hard.Giving relaxation to citizens as well as businesses so that major crises can be managed effectively.

4.Transport department: In case of partial or full lockdown , effective communication among various fronts needs to be taken care of.This is the main function of transport department.

5.IT department: Creating awarness about dos and don'ts to avoid covid spread as well as prohibiting any spread of fake news to be stricting monitored by this department.

6.Aviation department: airlifting citizens of country who have been struck in foreign countries during this pandemic is a very important function under this department.

on the whole , function of every other department also equally important this time and above all effective cooperation among various departments is necessary to avoid any unnecessary problem.
