Although, legal steps in the form of amendments have been laid to protect minority interests but it is undeniable that inequality on racial, ethic, and social groups still exists today. The current situation going on in the country is an explicit example of the same. Analyze in 150-200 words about such discriminations still prevalent in today's society.
Constitution establishes the government, supremacy of power and
its distribution, protects the rights of citizens and various other
functions. In amendment procedure, the legislature needs to pass an
amendment law with greater majority for ordinary legislation. The
most commonly used majority formulas are three-fifths or two-thirds
of the membership. The concept of super majority have two roles; on
one hand, the changes supported by broad range of political
background. On the other hand, it spoils the small group in the
legislature. Some countries demand referendum from people to pass
the amendment law; his reflects the people source of
sovereignty.
Most of the immediate amendments did not consider the opinion of
the people. Here, it shows a form inequality. For example, if there
is any new amendment bill or law is going to pass in legislature
regarding to the rights of tribal. The sarcasms is that, there is
no single representation of tribal people in that legislature.
There is a clear cut inequality showed towards tribal people. This
situation prevails in our present society also. The value of
people’s government decreased gradually. There is supremacy of
super majority decide all the rules and regulation without
considering the needy.
