Changes in physical development in young adults
Both male and female young adults experience changes to their internal as well as external anatomy and to their minds during the adolescence and at the end of the adolescence. These changes define the characteristic features of the individuals. These are regarded as the physical developments.
During the adolescence and after a few years completing the adolescence both males and females shall experience growth spurts in height and weight. Individuals experience growth and development of bones, muscles. They tend to get longer and stronger marking the physical abilities of the individuals. Besides these many more changes with respect to the development in sex organs and sex hormones shall occur to them. The same are mentioned below.
Males tend to develop broad shoulders, wide chest/torso. The muscles of the upper body and lower body get a definition with respect to their day to day activities. The abdomen region tends to negate fat deposition or favor fat deposition based on their genetics or based on the levels of training/hard work they perform each day. The sex organs namely penis and testicles grows and individuals experience erections as well as ejaculations. Their voices also deepen and could undergo crack, shift, etc. Psychologically individuals tend to go into confusion about the changes happening in the body. They also develop personalities with respect to the positive changes and the negative changes that occur to their body. Individuals who develop positive changes such as clear admirable voice, good physique shall become more confident while those who experience negative changes such as poor fat metabolism, no improvement in height, poor muscular definition shall tend to be shy and less social. The individuals with negative changes could also develop disorders that would require intervention from family and friends.
Females experience a huge change in their body. The fat deposition gets vigorous and their breasts grow fuller. The hips too grow wider. There shall be problems with their menstrual cycle and this can affect their overall health. Females tend to experience physical weakness, illness stress quite often. Similar to males, females too experience positive changes and negative changes in their body with respect to their genetics and the work/ training they do every day. The females with positive changes become stronger women and tend to challenge men while those with negative changes tend to adopt shy mannerisms, personalities, and less challenging as well as adventurous moods. Females tend to develop mental illness more than male, hence necessary awareness and education is required to guide them in accepting the changes in body and mind.
