To write an ethical profile of a family & as a ethical professional. therefore we start with: Some common factors that influence a person's individuals ethics we consider the very basic point is 1) family influence., Its based on the parents characterisitics which can be as the behavior of siblings, families social & economic status, education in family.therefore the children inheret, , inculcate the values from family traditions, these actually shape the children.
2) Peer influence : applies by a individual or group to encourage people to change their behaviors, values in order to comply with the norms.
3) Life experience : The life experience starts from the day we are born & till our last breath. In this particular period we pass through many good , bad or ugly phases in our life. Theperson becomes wiser by age & through his experience of life.
4) Personal values : Personal values and morals are a standard that we set for ourselves to live by. These values vary by individual & are very personal that may involve culture, tradition & religion.
5) Situational Factor :The influence of situational factors determines the individual’s ethical situations & can attribute a behavior to factors in the person’s surrounding.
All these factors when clubbed together depicts the qualities of a person , social , economic situations.build a person personality.
The very first person in an infant life is his/ her mother , the child , who after a day or two starts reconizing her & the father.the parents influence the child & make them stand in their life.
Parents taught me the values, love, confidence, communication, culture, beliefs and many other topics that develop the self and how to behave towards society with our culture, tradition and religion. My mother taught me how to grow up with a strong & helpful family members and she was always there for me. Entring pre-school & finally completing my education part. She taught me how to social . humble with class mate , respect teachers & even taught me how to take care of sick members of a family. I learn from my mother how a grown child cares about their parents, siblings and their in laws the way my mother cares for her elders. She would say that is a family’s voluntary sacrifices and love forever rather than creating debts to be repaid. They taught me laughter is good family medicine. Humor is an escape valve for family tension. They showed me how to pursue a good work ethic, and how to treat others the way I want to be treated.
Parents taught & made me to remain indipendent I learn about being independent. At the age of adolescents, I was taught to do my own laundry and other necessities to my life. I was rebellious at the beginning and that my friends are not being told to do so but I was force to do even though I am their only son! But years later, it was a great advantage for me when I was on my own.
My father was a role model for me. I grow up seeing my father working the whole day . being a Doctor he had very little time to devote for us , He taught me how to work hard , take quick decisions , & act according to the situations, check your daily schedule & plan for the priorty jobs. But he was a chain smoker& never wanted that I should smoke too.as a child Iwas tempted to experience what smoking was. therefore in order to have a check on me he also gave up smoking .. The evidence is clear from this research, that if parents don’t want their children to start smoking, it is important for them to stop their own smoking. Thus he did not allow any visitors to smoke in my house or car, and if they did smoke, they should not do it, in front of my children In the same manner . I also do not allow my children to handle smoking materials. In this way, I am taking care of their health and as well as theirs well-being. I don’t want my kids to be smokers.
PEER INFLUENCE :Peer influence exists for all ages and there are two types, negative and positive influence. children begin to move away from parental influence, the peer group will open up new perspectives. To be a member of a peer group, an adolescent must accept the values and behavioral norms even though these may be undesirable. Mostly Peer influence harms you in society for example, smoking, drinking, drugs, fighting, vandalism and rebellious against society. children begin to move away from parental influence, the peer group will open up new perspectives. POSITIVE PEER INFLUENCE :It helps to reflect on yourself. Peers may teach you good things & encourage you to follow them. My organization is big & being part of a larger group of peers, I am exposed to the variety in human behavior. These make and reflect my behavior and where I stand. I am fortunate enough to get a good peer group. My peers influence me into shaping my personality in a positive way. It’s not influence every time, sometimes its inspiration, which makes you change for good.
Asudden change & expeience : iHad to attend the funeral of my friends son who was hardly 24 yrs old. he died as his kidney damaged here I developed a thought of donating my organs after my death with the consent of my family members& finally got my self registered for the donation.
