the vital signs
shows that
- there is a decreased blood pressure
- there is an increase in body temperature
- there is an increase in heart rate
- there is an increase in respiration rate

physiological needs:
- body sponging and cold compress could be provided at least
every 30 minutes interval until the temperature does not comes
down
- antipyretics could be administered as per doctor's order
- blanket could be provided if in case of shivering
- adequate ventilation must be provided
2. safety and
security needs:
- in case of extreme weakness, side rails of the bed must be
raised
- floor must be dry and non-slippery
- there must be no ramps in order to avoid fall
3. love and
belongingness needs:
- visitors must be allowed to feel warmth and care
- maintain a trust worthy attitude to develop rapport
- make sure that you are there in case of any need
4. self esteem
needs:
- maintain non judgemental attitude
- maintain unconditional positive regard and congruence while
communicating with the patient
5.
self-actualization needs:
- when all other needs are met, and if the person is satisfied
and contempt with the life, self actualization is attained.
- assessment could be made regarding the person's perception
about life and current situation.
