Epigenetic Reflection Questions. I don't understand the comment.
ans. DNA methylation is an epigenetic factor which is play an imporatant role in gene expression. epigenetic refers to study of heritable changes in gene expression or phenotype that are not cause due to the changes in DNA sequence.. DNA methylation refers to an additon of methyl group to the cytosine base of DNA molecule.
for gene expression, gene promoter should accessible to transcription factors and enhancers ( other regulatory units). it directly prevent these factor binding and change in chromatin structure which restrict access of factors to promoter.
we can use both chemistry and biology in preparing a model as biology is used to draw structure while chemistry is used in the way of chemical structure which are present in that molcule.
from the beginning to the end, i gained a lot of knowledge about epigenetics because if you are doing some thing serious in your project than you gain interst in that topic which increase your knowlwdge about that.
\VSEPR and molecular shape related information is required only for your interest to know the chemical structure of a compund like how it make, how other molecule are attached to each other, in how much space it can be fitted etc. so its upto you whether you have interest to gain extra knowledge about your model or not.
