Non-verbal behaviors perceive different in different countries and culture. Touching someone and backpatting is regarded as an affectionate in the US but samething in Indian and Chinese culture doesnot consider proper behavior. In this way interruptions doesnot bring negative behavior in US but in Japan when someone interrupt it is highly regarded as wrong behavior of that person.Silent period is not practiced more in US because they want to be talkative but in Europe and South Asia, it is desirable behavior. There are different perception and reaction of people on the behavior of the person according to the culture. We do know that culture plays a significant role in shaping the behavior, thinking process and perception of people in this globalized world.

These factors play a vital role in negotiation process when there is cross-cultural negotiation. Here both parties can perceive things differently. One behavior is regarded as best in one culture whereas that behavior is regarded as bad in another culture.It affect the negotiation process and do the outcome when people and parties in negotiation are from different culture.
