In a hospital setting, executives compensation is different from non-executives. Executives are given either according to performance or seniority basis. In seniority basis, justice is not made in terms of work. That is why organizations are implementing performance based compensation. The components are basic pay, HRA, dearness allowance, transport allowance, fringe benefits, food coupons,, bonus, incentives etc.
In service sectors, usually there are no unions rather it is named as associations or officer club etc. Whenever it comes to non-executives, union play a major role. It helps in negotiations with the management regarding hike in salary, bonus components, extra benefits, food and cab facilities, training and improving skills also.
For international assignments, the compensation is different as many other factors are involved like airfare, school fees, housing facilities, base pay is doubled or tripled along with 4 star or 5 star hotel facilities, free cab from hotel to hospital.
For international assignments, the facilities will be much more than the normal pay. It will definitely impact the organization as the minimum expenses for an international assignments would be 10lakhs. If the expats don't transfer the knowledge then it will be a big loss for the organization. So organization should take wise decision while selecting expats. If the expats will not cope up with the new environment, the learning reduces and results in loss.
