  • Suppliers plan their themes and promotional startegies around the cultural expecatations. Taking example of Valentine's day flower, chocolate and gift selling companies starts giving offer on the occassion of valentine's day.
  • By advertising in various online medias like TV channels, online portals they are able to influence consumer behavior according to occassion. Like in valentine's day advertisement on gift and all starts increasing showing the significance of valentine.
  • Even the look and feel of the shops are being changed according to the occassion which also influence the purchasing decision of consumers.
  • Socially various sub events are generated which is signified by various consumer behavior that also helps in influencing consumer purchase and other decision making be it purchasing gifts or having dinner outside.
    For Instance Valentine's day has few subevents as well like Choclate day, Rose day, Teddy day which is created like in Chocolate day one should gift chocolate to their loved ones similarly Rose and Teddy Bear on other two days.
