We are engaged in cultural studies, our task is not merely to take the history lessons as absolute truth, but rather to analyze, and even critique, the way these lessons are constructed. If everything is a story, we need to keep considering not just what the story is about, but also how the story is told.

Start by writing about whether you think -- or feel -- there is any resistance to studying history and critiquing history at the same time, and if so, why is that?

Several distinct resistance or liberation campaigns. What similarities do you see between the many campaigns and movements ? Give at least one specific example. (eg. are you noticing a pattern among these campaigns in relationship to the Vietnam War?)
