meention any two types of plants/trees in your locality. For each of the plants/trees outline any material that can be obtained from it to teach science in basic schools.
Answer with explanation:
Any two types of plants are Herbs and shrubs. Herbs are small plants with soft root and stems, usually used as vegetable. Shrubs are plants bigger than herbs and the stem is stronger than herbs but stem is thin. Usually the branches of the shrubs re near the ground and they are medium sized bushy plants.
From a herb 'stem' can be obtained as the stem of herbs are not very strong and they can be easily taken.
Stem:
The stem is a main structural axis. It supports leaves and branches. In herbs, the stem is soft and usually green in colour.
From a shrub 'leaf' can be obtained and can be taken to the school.
Leaf:
Leaf is a blade like structure attached to the stem directly or through stalk. Typically leaf is green in colour because it contains chloroplast which contains chlorophyll pigment. The leaf is the main site of a plant where most of the photosynthesis takes place.
