Answer) When we talk about neoliberalism,we talk about free economy,more onus on market than government interference and shifting control from public to private players,in same essence when we talk about neoliberal managerial power,we talk about less centralised power and more flexible approach,we talk about how a business can work with intrapreneurs where every department has its own ways of working and within departments too there is freedom to pursue a particular strategy,so it is a workplace setup where a common vision is there but at same time there are department visions and missions and individual missions as well which exist,the whole concept is based on that everyone knows their strengths and they best know how to reach given targets and achieve results,if we take example of high end luxurious salon chain,it will have many departments such as operations,human resources,business development,marketing,leadership,trainers,in a neoliberal managerial power,each department will work in their own way with a common vision such as this salon chain has to double in numbers in next 5 years and be among the best chains in the country,now for this Business development team will look at places to open new salon while marketing team will look for promotions,operations will try to bring in more revenue and at same time take care of quality while HR will look to bring in right people,the idea is that each department will work in their own way and frredom but keeping in mind vision of organization in mind.
