2.Positive discipline
3.Disciplinary policy
1) Ans-Firstly we understand about Progressive discipline, The Progressive Discipline process is designed to be constructive and corrective and to promote employee success or we can say that Progressive Discipline is a step-by-step process designed to modify unacceptable employee behaviors, which also allows for discipline to start at a higher step based on the severity and circumstances of the situation.
There are 4 process of progressive discipline.
a) Verbal warning b) written warning
c) Suspension or final warning d) Termination
2) Positive discipline:-Positive Discipline is a way to teach young people to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities. The goal of positive discipline is to teach by first creating safe relationships with children. Connection must come before correction in order for discipline to be effective in the long term.
There are some concept of positive discipline.
a) Focusing on solutions instead of punishment.
b) give respect to peoples
c) Effective communication and problem solving skills.
d) Builds and maintains self-esteem.
e) Teaches children how to manage their emotions.
3) Disciplinary policy:-The purpose of this policy and procedure is to help and encourage all employees to achieve and maintain satisfactory standards of conduct at work, and to ensure that any employees against whom any allegation of misconduct is made, have the benefit of a fair investigation, hearing, representation and decision.
Procedure of policy:-
a) Reasonable steps shall be taken to establish the substance of
complaints or allegations
against an employee before any of the sanctions.
b) Invite the employee to a disciplinary meeting.
c) conduct the disciplinary meeting.
d) decide on action to take.
e) Dismissal
f) Appeal and suspension.
These above are procedures of disciplinary policy.
