The discovery was made by Robert hook and Antoni van leeuwenhoek when they first studied where they discovered mucor a fungus by their self made microscope. The discovery of these microorganisms has explained the microbiota present widely in the world and it's affect on human health. Studying the nature and morphology of microorganisms can help us understand their mode of entry, mode of action and the treatment options available. Their location in the body and their activity helps understand the difference between good microorganism and bad microorganism. This understanding helps in development of specific and broad spectrum Antibiotics.

Life expectancy has increased over the past few years because of the advances that are being made in the scientific discoveries.
