An early child educator is someone who works with young children to help them with their development process. Children go through different stages of development through early childhood. It includes, cognitive development like, emotions, intelligence, aptitude, attitude, morality and etcetera. Children mostly learn through observation, classical conditioning or operant conditioning. It is important that children have appropriate learning experiences in school and at home. The early childhood educator works both with the child and the family, working together collectively. A child is capable of learning on his own. However, he may be in need of assisted training. Assisted training is guiding or supporting the child in the initial stages of learning, but can be decreased or diminished with time as a child begins to get independent. Helping with classroom work, providing with clues for answers, encouragement at the right time, breezing through steps of complicated problems and etcetera are a few ways of assisted training. The early childhood educator helps young children learn how to interact with their immediate social environment, they help the kids with both cognitive and social development.
